SUGGESTED ITINERARY - GET IN TOUCH FOR A COSTUMIZED TOUR!


Day 1 | Arrival
Upon arrival at Milan airport we will transfer to the hotel in the Lake District to check in and enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 | Lake Como
After breakfast at the hotel we will take the private bus to Lake Como. The luxury resort town was established as a vacation destination and alpine garrison by Julius Cesar. Now it is noted for its stylish Italian art nouveau villas, built by the affluent on its bedazzling shores. We will take a boat trip to Bellagio. On the way back to the hotel we will stop at a wine cellar for a tasting.

Day 3 | Turin
Today we will travel to Piedmont, stopping en route to visit lovely Turin. We will meet the private, licensed guide who will take us to do a two hour walking tour to see the city’s most important sights and stately architecture. Following the tour we will go on to visit the Martini Factory, south of the city. In the evening we will arrive at the group’s new hotel, where dinner will be served.

Day 4 | The Langhe
We will take the private bus to the countryside, stopping to try some of the important wines the area is famous for. We will see where the Nebbiolo grapes are transformed into the handsome Barolo wine. Barolo is aged for a minimum of three years, but is said to really start “performing” after ten. We will have the opportunity to try a few.

Day 5 | Lake Iseo & Franciacorta
In the morning we will relax during a boat ride on placid Lake Iseo, a lesser known gem of a lake, before we try Franciacorta Spumante wine. The delicious bubbly will be served with local specialities. In the evening the private bus will return the group to the hotel.

Day 6 | Wine road in the Veneto region
The private bus will take us to the region of the Veneto and its renowned Prosecco wine road. We will stop for a tasting of the celebratory sparkling wine before arriving at our new hotel in the evening.

Day 7 | Red wine growing region of Valpolicella
Following breakfast at the hotel we will go to Verona, the marvelous city that captured Shakespeare’s heart and imagination. The two hour walking tour will hit the highlights, including the bittersweet balcony of Romeo and Juliet. In the afternoon the private bus will take the group to the areas of Valpolicella and Amarone to try the homonymous wines made there. A farewell dinner with be served at a hotel in the evening.

Day 8 | Departure
After breakfast we will take the private bus back to the Milan airport for our flight home.
